Civil 3D Bid Express Subscription Extension
Autodesk released a new subscription extension recently to help estimate project costs using data from the Bid Express service. If you need to download the extension, you can get it from Subscription Center. If you are having difficulties logging in  see our guide.
A lot of good information has already been shared about the Bid Express Extension including an excellent tutorial at BIM on the Rocks. However, if you watch the video, you’ll quickly find that the extension is geared towards states where the DOT’s are already using the Bid Express service.
For those of us in California, Caltrans already has an electronic system for bidding on projects. It’s hard to imagine that Caltrans would ever switch over to using a third party system when they already have one in place. On the other hand, if you’re living in any of the following states, it looks like a great extension to try before you bid your next project:
